Hi, I am Jessica Carney, owner of Synergy Wellness and Physical Therapy. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Professional Level Nutrition Response Tester. I live in rural Guthrie County with my husband Tyler, and 3 kids, Cadence (12), Dalton (9) and Drew (7). As long as I can remember, I have been intrigued with the body and how it works. Upon graduation from high school, I knew that I wanted to do something in the health field. Being a dual sport athlete in college, I spent a lot of time in the athletic training room. This spurred my interest in physical therapy. After shadowing at a local PT clinic, I knew this was the career for me. I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology at Buena Vista University, followed by my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Des Moines University. I have worked as a physical therapist in critical access hospitals treating patients of all ages and diagnoses. I have been working professionally as a Physical Therapist for 12 years. In seeking health and wellness for myself, I have learned the importance of nutrition and overall health. .
