Meet Jessica
With over 20 years of experience and a deep belief that every patient deserves more than a cookie-cutter care plan, Dr. Jessica Carney founded Synergy Wellness & Physical Therapy in 2023 to do things differently.
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Professional Level Nutrition Response Tester, Jessica brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and whole-body wellness insight to every patient she sees. She treats everything from post-surgical recovery and sports injuries to chronic pain, neurological conditions, and balance disorders — for patients of all ages.
Her mission is simple: help you feel heard, supported, and empowered — and give you the tools to stay well long after you leave her care.

Watching patients go from frustrated and in pain to feeling like themselves again. There is nothing better than seeing someone return to the activities they love — and knowing they have the tools to stay there.

Guthrie Center is home — and I don't take lightly the trust this community places in me. Serving the people who live and work here, helping families get back to doing what they love, is exactly why I opened Synergy Wellness & Physical Therapy right here in Guthrie Center.

You'll find me out in rural Guthrie County with my husband Tyler and our three kids — Cadence, Dalton, and Drew. Between activities, family time, and life on the acreage, they keep me pretty busy — and they're a big part of why I'm so passionate about whole-family health and wellness.

Physical therapy is so much more than exercises and ice packs. It is a powerful, evidence-based practice that can address pain, restore function, improve performance, and even help you avoid surgery altogether. And because most PT services are covered by insurance, there is often very little standing between you and feeling significantly better.

My own personal health journey opened my eyes to just how much nutrition and lifestyle impact the body's ability to heal. I was seeing patients work hard in PT and still struggling — and I kept coming back to the question of what else was going on beneath the surface. Nutrition Response Testing gave me a way to find those answers and support my patients more completely.

The body is incredibly capable — it just needs the right support. I believe healing happens when we address the whole person, not just the symptom. That means combining the best of physical therapy with nutrition, movement, and wellness to give your body every possible advantage.
